Speed meets strategy in the ultimate race, where getting close to the truth puts your life at stake. Generation Synthesis is an action-adventure racing game, with a semi-open world environment and role-based gameplay.
Gameplay Features
Story mode: pass the Academy's prestigious selection process and immerse yourself into the sci-fi world revolving around the League, as you experience the elite championship firsthand. Follow the intense plot as a driver or a navigator, uncover truths about your lifetime idols, and shape the future of racing, where the racetrack opponents are not your only enemies.
Simulation mode: sharpen your skills or simply enjoy the thrill of the drive at the training simulators, scattered around Shodo. Load the AI of your racing idol, choose a map from the League's rich history and enjoy the simulated race, earning rewards for game progress.
Haruna Drive mode: when the sun sets, enter the thrilling Haruna Drive mode where no rules exist. Take on any role in high-stakes night-only races to earn unique rewards as you win attention of the crowd - and, if you are lucky, of those running the underground world.
Rapid Review Room: gather with fellow racers after the competition to debrief and dissect every turn and surprise obstacle met on the lap. Share your frustrations, challenge accusations - or listen in quietly, letting the debate take its course.
World exploration: explore beyond the racetrack and engage with NPCs to uncover unique stories, tasks and rewards. Your interactions shape your character's narrative and reputation, influencing your journey through the game's nuanced world.
Character collection: find your ideal partner from the library of Shinzar racers! Make your favorite characters part of your training journey, as you gain the ability to install their AI in Simulation Mode to ride along, chat and interact with. Create your dream pair and get a full League experience by driving with the star.
Character relationships: build a bond with your partner as you progress through the game. The strength of your relationship affects their behaviour - deepen these connections to unlock hidden narratives and learn more about your partner's journey.
Sponsor networking: earning respect of the League's most influential names is integral for building out reputation as an elite racer. Forge valuable ties with the race's sponsors to unlock exclusive experiences such as unique locations, events, characters, cars and discounts.
Customization: customize your racing car and your character's appearance. Speak to your team's engineer to modify your vehicle, or head to the Wisdom Square to shop at the Capital's most fashionable street. Cause an impression on the elite crowd on and off track.
Multiplayer: unleash the full potential of co-op racing as you join your friends for simulation training or at Haruna Drive. Test your bond as a team or compete against each other - show off your skills as you race for the title of the champion and unlock rewards together.
Parent Guide:
Generation Synthesis has an ESRB T rating. It is an action-adventure sci-fi racing game, where players assume roles of pilots or navigators participating in inter-planet race championships. Players explore a semi-open world, interact with characters and participate in simulated races. Player's car may be damaged through collisions with other vehicles, obstacles and map terrains; damaged car sections light up on the screen. Characters may use mild profanity during collisions ("Sh*t") and adapted name-calling in conversations ("son of Trojan", "gearhead", "rocket reject", "space junk") . References to car accidents with animated blood are made in the story mode as characters talk about their past. Backstories of some characters feature complex themes to describe the rise to fame (e.g. use of controlled substances, suggestive topics, child exploitation). Playable characters consume prescribed medications, and alcohol is used by NPCs in various game locations.
